So things are getting better I must say, and I'm finally really enjoying it here. I've found a group of people I want to be around, and that's important.
Classes started last week, and thankfully the load isn't too heavy. Yet. Had a lot of reading about oil for Thursday which I STILL haven't done, but oh well. Plenty of time. It's just stupid questions and reading that I don't care for, and the French class is just pointless. It's INTRO. So why is it all in French? Stupid stupid French woman. You must give DEFINITIONS for what you are blabbing on about. And tell me how to RESPOND. Yeah. Welcome back to school, I guess. At least we had today off for the wonderful holiday Labor Day. Unfortunately, being a Catholic institution, we don't get the Jewish holidays off. Damn!
But, YOU don't care about classes. YOU want dirt. That's why only Alethea is reading this! ;)
I got a job. I will be lifeguaridng and doing some desk stuff at the pool/fitness center on campus 6 hours a week. which is really convenient actually. MONEY is important.
Parties? Plenty of 'em. Lots of fun too, though the booze gets finished pretty quickly. Which is why I need shots. Somebody buy some hard liquor for me? Please? I'll love you forever. I just want that point of inebriation at least one time this month. I've remembered way too much throughout. It's fun still, though. My friend Chris and I have found that there is no need to always be drunk, fun though it might be. Isn't that good for some common ground? ;) Still, the man likes to skip when he's had something to drink. I never thought I'd see a lax player skipping, but welcome to Georgetown? And yes, you read that right. I am friends with people who play the sport that I hated so much at WM because of who was playing it and how they treated others (not everyone, of course. There are the exceptions). I guess college does have more mature people. Sure, you have your complete idiots but still, on the whole, you have many intelligent people here. Like Rachel on my floor. Smart smart girl.
